ProppyApp introduces new feature to help the little guys

PROPERTY portal, ProppyApp, recently launched a new ‘neighbourhood economy’ service known as ProppyCares, allowing local businesses to connect with consumers within their locality.

Presenting an alternative method of doing business, ProppyCares help property-related business and tradesmen by listing their businesses on its merchant listing platform. This applies to services like electricians, air-conditioning service repairmen, plumbers, home renovation contractors and even cleaners.

With over 30 categories of property-related services available on the platform, customers can easily connect and interact with the desired merchant via the in-app chat feature, ‘Beep!’.

Users would also be able to post reviews and testimonies on the merchants, helping other users to make better decisions on which merchants are recommendable to choose from.

“When the movement control order (MCO) was announced, it significantly affected small businesses. While some have successfully embraced digital transformation by moving their businesses online, other types of services are left behind,” explained ProppyApp founder and chief coordinator Lee Willson.

It’s easier for business such as those within the food and beverage (F&B) category to move online, but the same cant be said for those providing certain services and tradesmen.

Acknowledging this, ProppyCares is meant to allow property-related businesses and services to stay relevant during the MCO period.

“We believe that it will be up to our local neighbourhoods and neighbours to reach out and support each other as we help one another overcome this very difficult time,” Willson said.

ProppyApp is currently open to all merchants, general tradesmen and home-related service repairmen, allowing them to register for free on its Basic Merchant package as its introductory promotion.

The app will also open its property listing marketplace listing to the property agents and homeowners soon. – June 30, 2021
